#twitterartexhibit Hey guys! Some of you will be pleased to know that we have extended the deadline for cards to arrive in Canberra, Australia by two weeks! 19th March 2018.
We know that some of you are struggling to make the earlier deadline so we have helped you out by extending it!
It still takes four weeks sometimes your card to get to Australia from a distance, so don't take your foot off the excelerator guys! Get painting for a great charity please.

Brindabellas - Edge of Light An audiovisual production by Silverdory Productions.
BRINDABELLAS | edge of light is an immersive cinematic journey through the sky and landscapes of the Canberra region of Australia – in particular the Brindabella Ranges. The film focuses on the interplay of mountain light, air and water as these elements are transformed across the seasons – from clouds to mist, rain and snow – then frost and ice – and onto creeks and rivers. It explores both the wider montane vistas of the Brindabellas and the more intimate details of the natural flows that are created by these mountains and, in turn, shape the very landscapes they arise from. ‘

#twitterartexhibit Thinking of joining in the #twitterartexhibit? This wonderful Charity Art event is a great way to meet fellow artists and supports small charities worldwide - it makes a fantastic small holiday project! The 2018 Twitter Art Exhibit will be supporting Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT. We look forward to hosting the event in April next year.
Always interesting to see the stats behind the TAE events year on year! We are currently standing at 53 countries donating cards to the sale in April, with the UK holding the top spot with 245 artists signed up! The U.S. is hot on their heals and Australia is coming up behind. Fascinating to see some of the countries which are taking part this year; Peru, Oman, Argentina, Venezuela, Botswana, Nigeria and at last... South Africa and many more! Last year we had a lot of Russian artists donating cards, but they have yet to appear this year, ....yet!
Remember, wherever you are in the world, PLEASE leave enough time to mail your art to Australia. Deadline for cards to arrive in Canberra is the 6 March 2018, and shipping can take 3 weeks or longer! Aim to have you work in the post by beginning of February so that it gets there in time!

IN its eighth year, the "Twitter Art Exhibit" is calling on artists to paint for a local charity, with Canberra's 2018 exhibition, "TAE18 AUS", raising money for "Pegasus". The official "call for artists" is now open, inviting artists to donate a postcard of original art, which will be exhibited and sold at Strathnairn Arts Gallery under the curatorship of Canberra artist Kylie Fogarty, with all proceeds being donated to Pegasus ACT.
