    Vision

    To cultivate contemporary visual art for local, national and international audiences in a sustainable creative precinct.

    Objectives

    1. To provide studio spaces and facilities to support the arts practice of established and emerging artists in Canberra.
    2. To provide an art gallery and outdoor sculpture space for exhibition to the public, and a retail outlet for Strathnairn Arts members.
    3. To present an Artist in Residence program to expand and enrich the arts practice and knowledge of Strathnairn Arts members and the community.
    4. To provide and encourage public access and education in the arts through the gallery and through workshops, demonstrations, seminars and conferences.
    5. To maintain and develop the historic rural Strathnairn property, and promote sustainable and safe practices.
    WHAT DOES YOUR MEMBERSHIP PROVIDE?
    • Discounted hire fees to the Village Hall (Terms of use apply, see website for details)
    • 10% discount on all workshops and courses held at Strathnairn
    • Strathnairn members are eligible to apply for studio spaces (subject to availability)
    • Access to Strathnairn's range of kilns and foundry facilities
    • Discounts at Discount Framing at Belconnen Framers 10%, Walkers Ceramics 5% & Eckersley's Art Supplies 10% off full priced item (ACT locations)
    • Opportunity to exhibit in the Strathnairn Arts Members' Annual Exhibition
    • Selling opportunities through our Open Day activities and other public events
    • Opportunity to join the Strathnairn SHOP and sell your artworks and objects direct to the public (extra membership fees and responsibilities apply)
    • Strathnairn updates and promotional opportunities through our social media
