Glimpses of Canberra in Paint and Poetry is a collaboration between artist Arlene Williams and poet Tony Steven Williams. The visitor is invited to enjoy dialogues between these two expressive art forms. Arlene loves to paint in a variety of mediums and formats. Here, she presents an eclectic and exciting mix of acrylics and watercolours depicting scenes in Canberra and surrounds. Some display well-known icons while others show more intimate conversations. Tony interprets each artwork poetically with either a direct ekphrastic response or a sideways reaction. His poems paint in words, telling stories, moving between thoughtful and fun.
