My inaugural exhibition Revival is an excursion into a dimension of my inner world that has been unattended to during all the conventional diversions of life. My works are medium to large format, bold, expressive with the intention of being uplifting. My art is about creating joy with colour in the simple forms of everyday objects and plant life. The word ‘revival’ encapsulates the spirit of the works stemming as they do from the personal, the seasonal and the wider recovery from adversity.
