Heidi Strachan 2016

Heidi Strachan is an artist who explores her natural and urban surroundings primarily with the mediums of clay and encaustic wax. Heidi attempts to capture a certain emotive essence she sees in the landscape with the use of mark making, memory and colour derived from natural materials found in the landscapes and thus provoke a sense of familiarity from her audience.

Heidi holds a Masters and First Class Honours Degree in Visual Arts from the Australian National University.
