MARKETING & ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Work with us to support Strathnairn’s artists, crafts people, members and community groups 

Strathnairn Arts is a not-for-profit association supported by the ACT Government. Located on 9.5 hectares of farmland on the outskirts of Canberra, Strathnairn houses working spaces and facilities for artists, crafts people and community groups.  Our facilities include including 20+ multipurpose studios, 3 galleries, arts shop, community hall, kilns and foundry. 

The Manager is responsible for developing, delivering and assessing a wide range of marketing and engagement initiatives supporting our facilities, exhibitions and events.   Managing our social media and website and engaging the community and members are also key responsibilities. 

This part-time position (2-3 day per week), reports to the Director and works in a small, professional team.  The selection criteria for this role are: 

• Demonstrated experience in developing innovative marketing, engagement and promotional materials, including social media, digital and other content, preferably in the visual arts sector. 

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team and build positive relationships with staff, board, members, artists and sponsors. 

• High-level written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce marketing materials for a wide range of audiences. 

• Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload, multitask and work independently.
