• At least 20 sheets of paper (some good quality, preferably 10 sheets).  ALL sheets MUST be primed with WHITE gesso prior to coming.  If paper is less than 200-300gsm, it is best to apply 2-3 coats of gesso.  DO NOT paint the paper with coloured gesso.

• Gesso – white and black.

• What you would normally use to paint – acrylic, oils or both, paint brushes.

• 10 small canvasses or boards already primed; gesso if working in acrylics OR oil-based primer if you are working in oils.

• Mediums – eg gel medium for acrylics or oil mediums.  I have both you can use if you run out.

• Apron, turps, anti-dandruff shampoo (this is good for washing hands/clean-up if working in oils).

• Boxes to take wet paintings home in. One box per painting.  This is more applicable for oil paintings than acrylics which tend to dry quickly.
